Please make plans to join us for our Spring General Meeting and Dinner, to be held at Big Spring Country Club on March 11. The event will open with Mass at 5:00, followed by a business meeting and dinner. The dinner buffet will feature a garden salad, chicken piccata, baked cod, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, and chocolate chip cookies.

EVENT SPEAKER

Our guest speaker will be Dr. Sharon Schuhmann. She will be presenting a talk called “Mary, Undoer of Knots.”

Sharon received a Master of Theological Studies degree from Saint Meinrad School of Theology in 2011 and a Doctor of Ministry in Preaching degree from Aquinas Institute of Theology at St. Louis University in 2016. Her passion for the Catholic faith, Sacred Scripture, and proclaiming and preaching encouraged her pursuit of these degrees. She recently published her first book, Preaching Through Guided Awareness. 

Sharon’s ministry experiences include Parish Formation and Pastoral Associate responsibilities in several parishes in the Archdiocese of Louisville, Coordinator of Evangelization 2007–2010, and Coordinator of Pro-Life Ministries 2010–2013. She is currently the Pastoral Associate at Saint Bernadette Catholic Church in Prospect, Kentucky. 

Sharon and Charlie Schuhmann are the proud parents of four adult children and ten grandchildren.
