Fall Fun Fest

  • Big Spring Country Club 5901 Dutchmans Lane Louisville, KY, 40205 United States (map)

EVENT DETAILS

Come one, come all, and have a ball at our Fall Festival of Fun! We welcome you to join us for a very fun day of bonhomie with your fellow Queens and their guests! Come eat, make merry, and play cards or whatever games you wish. Not feeling it? Come anyway to sit with everyone, enjoy time with friends, and promote the Queen’s Daughters.

Fundraising: Back is our $500 Capital Cash Prize, as well as our $500 Gift Card Tree. We will again have the Board of Gift Cards drawing where for $20 you are guaranteed to get a gift card for that amount or more (while supplies last)! Adding to the fun, there will be raffle baskets valued at a minimum of $150. New this year is a Getting to Know Your Fellow Queens competition, where the winner gets a prize chosen especially for them! Participation is free and optional, but why wouldn’t you be part of the fun? Our scrumptious Country Kitchen returns as well. Bring cash or your checkbook because you will want to participate, and remember, all proceeds support our mission.

Gift Cards Needed: Please bring them to the September 9th meeting or the Meet-n-Greet Membership event on September 30, or mail them to Kate Ford, 1866 Douglass Blvd., Louisville, KY 40205.

Bake Sale: Tasty treats are needed for the bake sale. Contact Barbara Klump at (502) 718-3757 or Nancy Poole at (502) 291-6915 to arrange for drop off or pickup of your items, or bring them early on the day of the Festival of Fun! We appreciate our wonderful bakers. If you’re bringing cookies, please package them in bags of two to four cookies each, depending on size. Interested in volunteering at the event? Call Kate Ford at (502) 744-6305.
