Join us for our Fall General Meeting on September 8! Mass starts at 5:00 p.m., with the meeting and dinner to follow. Our speaker, Emily McKinley, Deputy Chief of Police for the LMPD, will discuss the timely topic “Keeping the Peace: The Role We All Play in a Safer Louisville.”

The buffet menu consists of garden salad, fruit salad, fried chicken, sautéed cod, roasted garlic potatoes, and vegetable medley. A cash bar will be available throughout the evening.

Meet Our Speaker, Emily McKinley

Emily McKinley serves as Deputy Chief of Police for the LMPD. In her role, she oversees the Accountability and Improvement Bureau and Support Bureau. She played an integral role for the City of Louisville as a member of the team managing the Department of Justice’s Pattern or Practice Investigation and reform efforts. She was the lead negotiator for LMPD in the City of Louisville’s Consent Decree negotiation with the United States Department of Justice.

Emily is dedicated to upholding constitutional principles while forging pathways for constant improvement in public safety strategies and the enhancement of community trust.

During her presentation, Emily will discuss the role of police, crime strategy, and how community safety is a responsibility we all share.
