Summer Newsletter – 2025
Dear Queen’s Daughters,
What a wonderful and successful spring we’ve had! I hope you were able to join us for some of the season’s memorable moments. A few highlights are included here, with more to come in our next newsletter.
The fashion show was one of our best yet, raising an incredible $76,803! Mary’s Day was as meaningful as ever—especially watching our students receive their scholarships.
We look forward to gathering again at the Fall General Meeting and kicking off another vibrant season together.
Thank you for your continued support and participation. We wouldn’t be the organization we are without you. Wishing you a safe and blessed summer!

Mary’s Day
Our annual Mary’s Day celebration was held on a beautful May 13th 2025 day. It was a perfect day to honor the Blessed Mother, our patroness. The celebration was held at Holy Family Church and began with the recitation of the rosary. Members brought flowers from their gardens and placed them at the foot of the statue of Our Lady of Fatima. A May Day procession followed with Queens Daughters officers and students scholarship awardees placing roses at the statue and our president crowning the Blessed Mother statue.
The mass began with the entrance procession of the cross bearer and servers followed by Deacon Pat Wright, concelebrants Reverend James Hackett and Reverend Tony Cecil, and our celebrant Archbishop Shelton Fabre. Archbishop Shelton presented our scholarship awardees their certificates during the mass, after the meditation and communion prayer. The beautful Marian hymns sung throughout mass were led by cantor Audrey Huber and accompanist Dennis O’Donoghue.
The Joe Huber Farm Restaurant catered a delicious buffet lunch immediately following mass at the adjacent Saffin Center. Installation of newly elected Queen’s Daughters officers for 2025-2027 was performed in a brief meeting after the luncheon. Read our Mary’s Day blog post to see more photos from our event!
Respectfully,
Cindy Huber, Chair of Mary's Day
